These allotments have been going now for several years; come along and see how
they've developed - it's also an opportunity to see how several different people plant and grow.

Also open during July and August  by prior arrangement to anyone who'd like to come and visit

Maggie Dove's garden in Jemimaville
The garden is mature with trees, flowers, fruit trees and vegetables and follows permaculture principles.  Maggie also practices the 'no dig approach' to gardening.

We are offering a repeat session owing to high demand, and a few places are available.  This workshop is not suitable for children.

Winemaking for beginners

" We will be picking some fresh ingredients to start a batch of wine. Then

we will look at some further stages in the process that have already been
started. There are many recipes and flavours that can be achieved so it is
good to experiment and see what works and what you like. During the morning
we will go over the steps to take over the months until you can sample your
own wines, so patience is required. Once you get started you can have a
range to choose from all year round. There will be a printed sheet to take
away with reminder tips and a book and resource list. We will also have a
small sample to taste so bring a designated driver! "

As for bringing anything, maybe just a notebook.
